St. Mary’s FAST

St. Mary’s FAST began on Tuesday, August 7th and will continue until her Feast day on August 22nd. Fish is permissible during this fast, however Wednesdays & Fridays still follow the strict fast guidelines of no fish. If you plan on making a vow (Nadr), please consult your spiritual advisor. No vows should be made without the approval and blessing of your spiritual advisor.

St. Mary’s Revival (Nahda): The Revival services this year will be every Monday, Thursday and Saturday evenings throughout the fast, and they started on Thursday, August 9th.
Each revival service will begin with Vespers service, a spiritual word, then followed by a procession venerating St. Mary.
Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm-9pm, Saturdays 5pm-8pm.

The Revival (Nahda) for the Eve of the Feast of St. Mary will be Tuesday evening, August 21st, from 6pm to 9pm. On Wednesday morning, August 22nd, we will celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Body of St. Mary with the Divine Liturgy from 8:30AM to 10:30AM.
