Message to Congregation – June 14, 2020

As you may know, Governor Phil Murphy is implementing plans to reopen places and businesses within the State subject to certain restrictions and guidelines.
Houses of worship were permitted to resume services, but only in stages and subject to the CDC recommendations concerning facemasks and social distancing protocols. Outdoor church services were permitted on May 18th, followed by indoor services on June 12th on a reduced capacity basis.

As we resume indoor Liturgical services, we cannot permit walk-ins due to the ongoing restrictions on capacity for in-door events. Therefore, every parishioner must register whereby you will receive an invitation to attend a particular liturgy so that we can remain at or below the maximum number of people for indoor gatherings permitted by the Executive Order. The registration process also furthers the governmental requirement for contact tracing and notification purposes in the event there is exposure or an outbreak.
